McDonough Marine Service started in the barge rental business in 1945. The business initially started with three barges and has since grown to a fleet size of over 750 barges. They charter (lease) barges to their customers, who use them to move their cargo or perform their work and then return them to McDonough. They have offices located in Houston, Norfolk, St. Louis and Metairie (New Orleans). |
